The problem
Intervention: None evaluated; this is a study of determinant factors, not an intervention test
Who it was tested with: 225 working mothers aged 18 and above with at least one child under five years old in Bandung city, Bekasi city, Bekasi Regency, Karawang Regency, West Bandung Regency, and Sumedang Regency.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"This study used a cross-sectional design with a total sample of 225 working mothers" and "The data were analyzed using chi-square tests and logistic regression." This is an observational study examining correlates of maternal behavior rather than testing whether an intervention improves child health outcomes.
This is a cross-sectional study without intervention testing or comparison groups, so it cannot determine whether improving well-being or knowledge would actually change behavior or prevent stunting. The study does not measure actual stunting outcomes in children.
