The problem
Intervention: None—this is an observational study examining the relationship between existing levels of psychosocial development and learning responsibility
Who it was tested with: 172 fifth and sixth-grade students (school-aged children) in Bekasi city and Bekasi Regency, Indonesia.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"The research sample consisted of 172 fifth and sixth-grade students from one school in Bekasi city and two schools in Bekasi Regency. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire." This is a descriptive observational study with no intervention, using simple linear regression to test association rather than causation.
Cross-sectional design cannot establish causality. No comparison or control group. Single region sample limits generalisability. No longitudinal follow-up.
