The problem
Intervention: MOLKESPRO educational board game designed to teach reproductive health knowledge to early adolescents
Who it was tested with: Grade 6 elementary school students (n=31) in Indonesia.
The same group is measured before the intervention and again afterwards, with a baseline and an endline and sometimes a midline. Change is visible, but other causes cannot be ruled out.
"The design of this study was pre-experimental with a pre-post-test design approach. Using the purposive sampling technique, the population was grade 6 elementary school students, as many as 31." The study measured the same group before and after exposure to MOLKESPRO, with knowledge assessed via questionnaire and analysed using paired t-test.
No comparison or control group; small sample size (n=31); single measurement point after intervention means no assessment of knowledge retention over time; no measurement of whether knowledge gains translated to behavioural change or impact on child marriage outcomes.
