The problem
Intervention: Islamic parenting styles incorporating comprehensive education in physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects, based on Quranic and Hadith teachings
Who it was tested with: Children in Islamic families and school environments, with focus on Indonesia.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"With the literature study method, verses from the Quran and Hadith are studied to obtain a formulation of Islamic parenting in Islamic families. The formulation is then applied as an effort to protect children in the school environment." The design relies on textual analysis and theoretical application rather than empirical evaluation of whether the parenting approach reduces violence.
This is a theoretical literature review without empirical testing, outcome measurement, or comparison groups. No data on actual implementation in schools or evidence of effectiveness in reducing violence.
