The problem
Intervention: Maternal education on proper feeding parenting practices and child nutrition
Who it was tested with: Mothers with toddlers aged 1-3 years in Samatiga District, West Aceh, Indonesia (n=93).
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"The data was analyzed using univariate and bivariate and then tested with the Spearman Rank Correlation Model" and "there is a relationship between feeding parenting patterns and the incidence of stunting in toddlers, namely with a value (Pvalue 0.000 <0.05)." This is a correlational study without intervention implementation, making the evidence tier pre-post at best, though no intervention was actually conducted.
The study is observational with no intervention implementation or control group, only measuring association. It does not evaluate the actual effectiveness of educational interventions, only identifies that parenting practices correlate with stunting.
