The problem
Intervention: Observation of natural motor development transition to independent walking
Who it was tested with: Infants aged 4 to 15 months (N=377 reported by mothers).
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"Mothers (N = 377) of infants aged 4-15 months reported on their children's locomotor abilities, aggressive behaviors (directed and exploratory), defiance, and temper loss." This represents practitioner-level evidence based on parental report without experimental design, baseline measurement, or comparison groups.
Study is cross-sectional rather than longitudinal, so causality cannot be established. Reliance on maternal recall for both motor milestones and behavior. No comparison group or intervention arm; this is observational data only.
