The problem
Intervention: A social media platform model with integrated parental controls including content sharing control, message control, login/logout timings, and customizable ad preferences
Who it was tested with: Underage children and their parents (location: Pakistan).
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"Our Proposed model addresses the current limitations by providing a social media experience with integrated parental controls... Future research should involve user testing of the proposed model with focused group discussions, along with their validation and analysis." The model is conceptual rather than evaluated, representing a design proposal without evidence of implementation or effectiveness.
The proposed model has not been tested with real users. No empirical data on effectiveness, user acceptance, or actual impact on child safety outcomes. Study is based on preliminary research and literature review only.
