The problem
Intervention: Online group intervention combining narrative-based psychological support, breathing retraining with respiratory physiotherapy activities, and peer connection, co-designed with adolescents with lived experience of long COVID
Who it was tested with: Adolescents with post-COVID syndrome; co-design feedback from 7 young people.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"A co-design approach refined a 'journey-of-life' online intervention for adolescents with PCS and incorporated respiratory physiotherapy activities. Seven CYP provided feedback on the intervention structure, pacing, accessibility, and content." The study engaged young people as co-designers to develop an intervention tailored to their needs, but did not yet test its effectiveness.
This is a co-design study with no comparison group and no measurement of clinical outcomes; it only documents preferences and feedback from 7 participants. No data on feasibility, acceptability, or clinical impact are provided.
