The problem
Intervention: Digital Flourishing Intervention comprising a Flourishing Check (online questionnaire) and a Pathway Tool (online directory of evidence-based programmes and resources) designed to empower parents and promote child wellbeing
Who it was tested with: Parents of children aged 0-5 years (N=600, split into intervention n=400 and waitlist control n=200).
Children or communities are compared with a group that did not receive the intervention, or followed over years. This is the design that best separates what the intervention did from everything else that changed.
"Using a randomised feasibility trial, participants (N = 600 parents of children aged 0-5 years) will complete the Flourishing Check. The intervention group (n = 400) will access the Flourishing Check and Pathway Tool, whereas a waitlist control group (n = 200) will access the Flourishing Check only." This describes a randomised design comparing an intervention group to a waitlist control, which meets the EXPERIMENTAL evidence tier standard.
This is a study protocol with no outcome data yet available. The document does not provide evidence of whether the intervention is effective, acceptable, or feasible as these assessments are planned future work.
