The problem
Intervention: Easter Seals adapted physical activity and parasport programs designed to provide inclusive opportunities for children of all abilities
Who it was tested with: Children with disabilities and their caregivers participating in Easter Seals programs.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"We collected quantitative and qualitative data through surveys followed by semi-structured interviews to further explore survey data findings. Survey data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and interviews using reflexive thematic analysis." The study uses a descriptive mixed-methods approach grounded in participant experience rather than experimental or comparison-based evidence.
Evaluation relies solely on caregiver self-report with no independent measurement of outcomes or comparison group. Study design does not establish causal relationships.
