The problem
Intervention: Health education delivered via animated video about early marriage
Who it was tested with: 85 adolescent girls in a state senior high school in Indonesia.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"The research used was quantitative with pre-experimental research, with a one-group pretest-posttest design." The study measured the same group of girls before and after receiving animated video-based health education, showing increased knowledge scores post-intervention.
No comparison or control group to rule out confounding factors; no follow-up to assess retention of knowledge; no measurement of behavioral or attitudinal outcomes; limited to one school setting
