The problem
Intervention: Assessment and analysis of existing play activities, nutritional status, and learning motivation in relation to learning outcomes
Who it was tested with: Upper-grade elementary school students (79 students from one public school in Lubuklinggau, Padang, Indonesia).
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"This research method is correlation using quantitative methodology through a path analysis approach... Data were collected using questionnaires for learning motivation, anthropometric tests to obtain students' nutritional status, and primary data used to see the learning outcomes obtained." The study measured associations between variables in a single timepoint or across related measurements to determine their combined influence on learning outcomes.
Single-school sample limits generalisability; correlational design prevents causal inference; no intervention was tested, only associations measured
