The problem
Intervention: Participatory empowerment of PKK cadres through GERDARA and the establishment of the Pos Sahabat Aman (problem identification, education, cadre participation, mentoring, evaluation and sustainability planning)
Who it was tested with: 28 PKK cadres from seven hamlets in Sukamantri Village, Indonesia.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"Based on a simulated completion that requires verification against field data, GERDARA implementation reached 92.50%" - the scores measure activity completion from an unverified simulation, with no comparison group or child outcome data, so this is practitioner-level evidence and cannot show effectiveness.
Scores are simulated and unverified. There is no measurement of stunting outcomes, no comparison group, and the sample is small (28 cadres). The scores measure implementation, not effect on children.
