The problem
Intervention: Resilience-building interventions (proposed but not tested in this study)
Who it was tested with: Women in Greece (cross-sectional sample).
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"Multivariable analysis showed that resilience was associated with lower levels of IPV" and "Resilience-building interventions may be particularly beneficial in efforts to prevent and address IPV." The study identifies an association between resilience and lower IPV through observational analysis, but makes only a suggestive recommendation about interventions without testing them, making the evidence tier practitioner-level for exploratory association only, not intervention evaluation.
Cross-sectional design prevents causal inference; convenience sampling limits generalizability; no randomised or quasi-experimental comparison; the proposed resilience-building intervention was not actually tested or evaluated
