Intervention: Assessment and support of physical literacy development across affective, cognitive, and physical domains in school-based settings
Who it was tested with: Danish school children aged 7-13 years (cross-sectional sample collected Jan-Dec 2020).
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"Cross-sectional data from Danish school children aged 7-13 years were collected in Jan-Dec 2020 in the Danish Assessment of Physical Literacy (DAPL) project... structural equation models were constructed with PL and MVPA as predictors of physical well-being and four aspects of psychosocial well-being." This demonstrates a structured analytical approach measuring associations between physical literacy and well-being outcomes, though the cross-sectional nature limits causal inference.
Cross-sectional design cannot establish causality; data collected during 2020 (pandemic period); second study on movement behavior composition was incomplete
