The problem
Intervention: Hypercontent-based electronic textbook with multimedia content (audio, video, images, QR codes) designed for character education learning
Who it was tested with: 35 first-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Selakau Tua, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"Data were collected using pre-test and post-test instruments. Field trial results showed a pre-test average of 73.31 rising to 83.00 on the post-test. The Paired T-test yielded p-value = 0.000 < 0.05." The study measured the same group before and after the intervention without a comparison group, making it a pre-post design that found statistically significant improvements in character education outcomes.
Single school, small sample size (n=35), no control group for comparison, no follow-up measurement to assess retention of learning, limited information on outcome measurement instrument
