The problem
Intervention: Assessment and comparison of mentalizing abilities using standardized questionnaires and cognitive tests (AQC, TAS-20, IRI, BES, and NEPSY-II subtests)
Who it was tested with: Outpatients aged 6–18 years with anorexia nervosa (n=15) or ARFID (n=15); excluded those with intellectual disability, pervasive developmental disorders, or binge eating.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.

This is a descriptive comparative study documenting differences in emotional processing between two eating disorder groups without testing an intervention or establishing whether the observed differences are statistically significant or clinically meaningful.
Preliminary results with small sample sizes; no control group; no statistical significance testing reported; country not specified; cross-sectional design prevents causal conclusions
