The problem
Intervention: Participatory nutrition education, counselling on balanced diets and complementary feeding, growth measurement demonstrations, developmental monitoring and individualised assistance for families and health cadres
Who it was tested with: Families with toddlers and community health cadres in Indonesia.
The same group is measured before the intervention and again afterwards, with a baseline and an endline and sometimes a midline. Change is visible, but other causes cannot be ruled out.
"Participants' knowledge was assessed before and after the educational sessions using structured questionnaires." This shows a before-and-after measurement of one group with no comparison group, so it is PRE_POST.
No comparison group, no numerical results reported in the abstract, and only knowledge and capacity were measured, not child growth or stunting outcomes. Long-term sustainability is not shown.
