The problem
Intervention: Awareness-raising sessions, educational outreach, training in educational communication, mentoring, and leaflets and posters for volunteers.
Who it was tested with: 24 adolescent health volunteers (kader) of Posyandu Remaja in a village in Tegal Regency, Indonesia.
Experience from people who deliver programmes: stories, case studies and lessons learned. Valuable for understanding how and why, and for spotting what to test next, but not a measure of effect.
"Evaluation was conducted using pre-and post-tests compresing 20 questions" shows the same group was measured before and after with no comparison group, so the design is pre-post.
Small sample, no comparison group, no statistical testing reported in the abstract, and no follow-up. Outcomes are for volunteers only, not adolescents. Baseline knowledge was already high (81.46).
