One of the problems in the learning process for elementary school children is the lack of focus and concentration in learning because teachers often use conventional models and do not interactive. The failure to achieve mastery of learning is caused by students' weak understanding of the material being taught, and the lack of teacher creativity in developing learning models so that the learning outcomes obtained are less than optimal. The researcher aims to analyse the effect between the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model and learning motivation of elementary students on learning outcomes in PPKn subjects. In this study the quantitative experimental method was used with the pretest and posttest experimental designs used. The sample used was 30 students. Data collection techniques is using a pretest-posttest and giving questionnaires to students. The data analysis technique uses a two-way analysis of variance to test the hypothesis. However, a requirement test was carried out, which included a normality test and a homogeneity test. Based on the analysis of the results, there is a relationship between applying the PjBL learning model and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Civics subjects in elementary schools. It was concluded that applying the PjBL learning model and learning motivation could improve student learning outcomes.
In societies where education holds high significance and parental ambitions for their children’s academic achievements are profound, understanding the rationale behind parental school choice becomes crucial. This study aims to explore the question: Are Saudi parents rational in selecting their children’s schools? Through an in-depth analysis of preferences and decision-making factors, this research endeavors to shed light on the intricate dynamics influencing parental school choice within the Saudi Arabian context. To achieve this objective, semi-structured interviews were conducted with Saudi parents whose children were enrolled in private schools (K-12). The findings indicate that cultural or religious identity emerged as a predominant factor, encompassing elements such as gender segregation in schools, parental preference for English over Arabic language learning, and the emphasis on Islamic religious education. Additionally, accessibility factors such as the physical location of the school and school fees emerged as significant determinants of parental preferences for their children’s schools. Wellbeing emerged as a crucial factor in parental decision-making. Furthermore, certain academic considerations emerged as a primary influencing factor in Saudi parents’ school selection. These considerations included skills development, school pedagogy, school staff quality, and learning outcomes.

This study aims to explain the application of the Children Learning in Science (CLiS) model in improving the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 1 Tondo. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which focuses on improving the quality of learning in the classroom. This model follows four stages of the Kemmis and McTaggart cycle: (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. This study was conducted during the 2024/2025 academic year, involving 28 fourth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected using test and non-test techniques. Non-test methods include interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, while the test method uses multiple-choice questions to assess students' understanding of science material. In Cycle I, the percentage of students achieving The classical approach was used to In Cycle I, student achievement using the classical approach increased to 64.29%, compared to 50% in the pre-action phase, showing an increase of 14.29%. In Cycle II, the percentage reached 100%. This shows an increase of 35.71% compared to Cycle I. These results indicate that the CLiS learning model has a significant influence on improving students' science learning outcomes. Therefore, the application of the CLiS model can be said to be an effective strategy to improve the learning achievement of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres 1 Tondo

The purpose of this study was to find out the learning process of children with special needs at the Salsabila Elementary School in Purwakarta. Children with special needs often do not get the same learning rights as other normal children. Therefore, it is necessary to study and find the right solution regarding this problem at Salsabila Elementary School. The research method uses an ethnographic design with a qualitative approach. data collection techniques through in-depth observation, interviews, and documenting the data. Data analysis by triangulation and interpretation. The results showed that the learning of children with special needs with other normal children in Salsabila Purwakarta Elementary School showed no difference. All children have the same right to learn with the educators, methods, media, and curriculum applied in the school. Learning prioritizes character building or soft skills compared to cognitive emphasis.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Physical Education (PE) learning in instilling and familiarizing positive character values in elementary school children. Character education is becoming increasingly important in the challenging era of globalization, where the flow of foreign cultures and the influence of social media can hinder the development of children's character. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach involving 20 students, 5 parents of students, 2 teachers, and 1 principal at Elementary School Angkasa I Lanud Sutan Syahrir Padang. Data were collected through observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that PE activities are an effective medium in instilling character values such as discipline, cooperation, and responsibility. Teachers act as role models in teaching these values, while parental support strengthens character habits outside of school. Although effective, there are several challenges in its implementation, such as time constraints and lack of training for teachers. This study conveys that PE has great potential to contribute to the formation of a young generation that is not only physically healthy but also strong in character.

Psychosocial development that is not fully mature can impact the learning responsibility of school-aged children. This study aims to analyze the influence of psychosocial development on the learning responsibility of school-aged children. Data was collected using the cluster random sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 172 fifth and sixth-grade students from one school in Bekasi city and two schools in Bekasi Regency. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. The instrument used to measure psychosocial development consisted of 19 items based on the dimensions of industry and inferiority. The instrument used to assess learning responsibility consisted of 22 items based on the dimensions of learning responsibility during the course and learning responsibility outside the course. The collected data was processed and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically simple linear regression tests. The results of the study showed that psychosocial development positively influences learning responsibility. The determination coefficient obtained was 0.496%, meaning that psychosocial development affects learning responsibility by 49.6%, while the remaining 50.1% is influenced by other factors. Therefore, it is essential for involved parties to be aware of children's psychosocial development to enhance their learning responsibility.
Abstract The purpose of conducting this research was to examine the influence of learning motivation and interest of students and parents’ attention on learning outcomes during distance learning. This research used quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population was all students of the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades in SDN 117 Pekanbaru, while the sample was 128 students selected using probability sampling. The instrument was a questionnaire by giving a series of questions to students. The data were analyzed using statistical data analysis with multiple regression. The results indicated a clear partial or simultaneous relevance of learning motivation, parental attention, and interest in learning to student learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers need to increase students’ motivation and interest in learning at school and establish communication with parents to increase their attention to their children.

Elementary school children are at a crucial stage of development in cognitive, emotional, social, and moral aspects. Therefore, learning strategies should not only focus on academic achievement but also take into account students' developmental characteristics. Educational psychology plays a significant role in helping educators understand how children learn and the factors influencing learning success. This study aims to examine educational psychology-based learning strategies to support elementary school students. The method used is a literature review analyzing recent scientific journals and books. The results indicate that strategies such as active learning, play-based learning, contextual learning, and individualized approaches can enhance motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. Thus, integrating educational psychology into teaching is essential for creating effective and meaningful learning experiences.
